Christie ran Wild Mountain Farms, a small, family-owned horse ranch in western Montana, for twenty years. She raised and bred Rocky Mountain Horses on her off-grid horse ranch in the mountains. She lives off-grid with her husband, Dave, and the many others who have found their way to become part of the ranch over the years. She loves horse packing, time with her dogs, photography and herbal medicine. She has an MFA in English and Creative Writing from Queens University and is an avid photographer.
